What does Tanuki Image Translator do?

Which images are supported?
Most common browser image formats are supported, including page images and screenshots that contain readable text.
Does it work with manga, manhwa, webtoons, and comics?
Yes. The workflow is designed around manga, manhwa, webtoon, and comic-style images where reading order, bubbles, captions, and visual context matter.
Is there a free plan?
Accounts use credits for translation. Any free allowances, bonuses, or trials should be configured in the extension and backend billing system.
What is the difference between Economy and Standard credits?
Economy credits are discounted credits for Economy translations only. In the current model setup, Economy means DeepSeek V3.1. Standard credits can be used with any available translation model.
Is my account shared with the extension?
Yes. The website and extension use the same backend account, so your credits and login belong to the same account.
